Ingredients
1 medium (400g) sweet potato, peeled and chopped coarsely
1½ cups (375mL) water
1 cup (80) broccoli florets
½ cup (60g) frozen peas

Instructions
1. Place sweet potato and water in a small saucepan, bring to the boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes; add broccoli and peas, cook a further 5 minutes or until tender.
2. Puree or mash according to baby’s age.
TIP:
- Puree can now be frozen for use at a later date.
- For convenient quantities, place puree into ice cube trays and freeze. Each cube is equal to about 1 tablespoonful, which is just right for babies just starting out.
