Apple and Date Couscous

Ingredients

  • 1½ tbsp couscous
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ medium apple, peeled, cored and grated
  • 3 dried dates, seeded and chopped
  • ¾ cup (190mL) milk

Step by step

  • Instructions

    Place couscous, sugar, apple, dates and milk in a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to the boil; simmer for 10 minutes or until couscous is tender.

    TIP: Delicious served with natural yoghurt or Vanilla Custard (see recipe)
